GOD LEADS US ALONG (song 44) by Bro. William Marrion Branham
194 Now come. You’re invited to walk to the altar now. Kneel down here before the Christ of God. Don’t notice the little humble tabernacle. Notice Who is in here, this morning, our blessed Saviour. Would you come? You’re invited. The Lord Jesus waits for you to come, for every (cleansing) spirit to go from your heart.
…His dear children along;
Some through the water, some through the flood,
Some through the fire, but all through the Blood;
Some through great sorrow, but God gives a song,
Walk up, this morning, kneel down in His Presence.
God leads His dear children along;
Sometimes in the valley in the darkest of night,
God leads His dear children along.
Some through the water, some through the flood,
Some through deep trial, but all through the Blood;
Some through great sorrow, but God gives a song,
In the night season and all the day long.
Some through the water, some through the flood,
Some through deep trial, but all through the Blood;
Some through great sorrow, but God gives a song,
In the night season and all the day long.
Though sorrow befall us, and Satan oppose,
God leads His dear children along;
Through grace we can conquer…?…
God leads His dear children along.
Won’t you let Him lead you?
Some through the water, some through the flood,
Some through the fire, but all through the Blood;
Some through great sorrow, but God gives a song,
In the night season and all the day long.
195 Now you’re invited, as we’re singing; if God is knocking at your heart, to let you open up your heart, to see His Presence, to enjoy the blessings of Him being your Lord, your ruler. Won’t you just forget that you’re in this little old tabernacle? And come up here to the Throne of His grace, and kneel down with these other weeping people, and open up your heart, so that He can open your understanding, that you will be His child and serve Him. Once more we sing, the last verse of this song. You’re invited. Now come.
Away from the mire, and away from the clay,
God leads His dear children along;
Away up in glory, Eternity’s day,
God leads His dear children along.
Some through the water, some through the flood,
Some through deep trial, but all through the Blood;
…but God gives a song,
In the night season and all the day long. (Softly.)
Some through the water, some through the flood,
Some through fire, but all through the Blood;
Some through great sorrow, (Don’t you understand?)…a song,
In the night season and all the day long.
196 Reverently we bow our heads now in the Presence of the great King of glory, the great Prince of peace.
