The Three Heavens - William Marrion Branham
In this third video of our Creation series, we dig into the topic of Heaven. From here we will proceed into a study of the New Heavens and New Earth, using the previous videos in this series as a foundation for the truth on what awaits overcomers there. Next up in this series is a look at UFOs/ETVs, Extra-terrestrial life and God's Sovereignty in creating this grand Universe the way He did.
When I had questions about heaven as a child, I was told that there would be no more ocean on the new earth and no more stars -- because-- there was no more night, and no sun since there was no need of the sun for light. The thought of a great portion of God's aquatic creation being non-existent on the new earth, and the thought that the Universe had been created simply for a 7,000 year show for humanity never sat well with me. It sounded like infinite heaven had been reduced to this one finite planet in perfectionary-limbo that no longer needed a sun for warmth, or a cosmos around it. Some people said that since there was no more sea, there would be a lot more land-space on earth for God's children, who otherwise, would not fit on the surface of this planet. Others said that earth would be recreated larger than the first time, since God was remaking it all from scratch anyway. I remained skeptical of these explanations. There is a sea of glass/crystal between the second and third heaven, and I wonder if this is actually the sea that separates our physical reality from the dimension of the third heaven.
Throughout my life I have been endlessly fascinated by the night sky-- and I've never even had the privilege of viewing it from the darkest areas of earth. I couldn't help but feel each time I saw a planet or constellation of heavenly bodies that somehow... I was getting a look up into heaven, or at least... a small portion of it. I have had a few dreams about the planets and stars, about flying by them and seeing them up close, and being amazed at their grandeur, and saying to myself, “So this is what they really look like!”
Young earth creationists have said that God made dinosaurs to confuse athiests and evolutionists... but that would make him a deceiver. They've also said that God only made the stars in the rest of the Universe to give light on the earth and for signs and seasons... or simply because He wanted to show us something grand to look at from our dark corner of our spiral galaxy- 1 among millions. But... why?
In adulthood I was gradually introduced to knowledge surrounding UFOs and extra-terrestrial beings. Their visages and craft are carved religiously into rock all over this planet from the last six thousand years. Their reputations proceed endlessly from the mouths of people who claim to have been abducted or seen these beings-- both in a positive and negative way. Even though I understood that these beings could be angels and demons-- the physical and literal nature of these stories and military reports was in conflict with the inter-dimensional and spiritual nature I was taught that angels and demons were confined to. Angels were spirits who do not need vehicles to ride around through space in, who simply manifested in a human body when they had a message for a person on earth. And demons are disembodied spirits seeking hosts to torment... so what do we make of E.T.s?? One day, I decided to see if the Bible could reconcile this issue. But we're not there yet.
Within this video is a startling quote from 53-0830a – Why I Am A Holy Roller that shook me to my core. It does not prove that Brother Branham believed in life beyond our planet... but it does say something about his belief that Heaven is not confined to this planet, or a pyramid shaped city placed on this planet. The quote was taken from paragraphs 35 and 36, and when paired with others in this series, makes a strong case. Frankly, it was the conclusion that I had come to a few years prior to finding this quote-- that I am in fact looking up into Heaven when I look at the night sky. And one day, I hope to not only see the innumerable stars and planets up close, but I aim to set foot on them. I do not care whether God gives me 100 or 1 to take care of. Maybe He'll only assign me a city... regardless, I want to please my Creator in such a way that His least desire is my command.
Thank you for watching.
