William Branham Sermons - Early Spiritual Experiences (52-0713A)

Sermon Title: Early Spiritual Experiences
Date: July 13, 1952
Location: Hammond, Indiana
Code: 52-0713A

About This Sermon:
In this deeply personal message, William Branham shares his early spiritual experiences from childhood through his calling to the ministry. He tells of the Light that appeared in the room at his birth, the Voice that spoke to him as a boy telling him not to drink, smoke, or defile his body, and the vision of the Municipal Bridge twenty-two years before it was built. He recounts his struggle with the supernatural gift—how clergymen told him it was of the devil, and how he tried to fight it away. He shares the story of his conversion, his baptism in the Holy Spirit, and the Angel of the Lord appearing to him in a cabin at Green's Mill, commissioning him to pray for the sick. He tells of the two signs given to him—knowing diseases by taking a person's hand, and later knowing the secrets of their hearts. He also shares the Houston photograph of the Angel of the Lord, the healing of Florence Nightingale in London, and his Africa trip where he learned the lesson of the permissive will of God. The service closes with his vision of a 300,000-person meeting in Durban, South Africa, and the confirmation of God's call on his life. This is one of Branham's most complete accounts of his early spiritual experiences.
