William Branham Sermons - Faith In The Son Of God (52-0715)

Sermon Title: Faith In The Son Of God
Date: July 15, 1952
Location: Hammond, Indiana
Code: 52-0715

About This Sermon:
In this message preached in Hammond, Indiana, William Branham speaks on faith in the Son of God, using the contrast between the Tree of Knowledge and the Tree of Life. He shares a conversation with a famous agnostic doctor who had studied all religions and concluded there was nothing to faith. Branham answered him from the Word: man left the Tree of Life and has been eating from the Tree of Knowledge ever since, destroying himself with gunpowder, automobiles, and atomic bombs. He emphasizes that when you can’t figure things out any longer, that’s when you believe—faith begins where knowledge ends. He gives a detailed lesson on the nature of disease, explaining that cancer and tumors are living growths with their own life, and that this life is a demon that must be rebuked in the Name of Jesus Christ. He shares the testimony of Delbert, a young man dying of syphilis, who was saved and then healed after prayer. He also tells of Mr. Reed, who was healed of a stroke after a vision of him standing by a palm tree in a brown suit, and of the confrontation in Harlingen, Texas, where two backslidden preachers accused him of being Simon the sorcerer, and God vindicated him. The service closes with a powerful prayer line where many are healed, including a woman with cancer, a man with throat trouble, a woman with arthritis, and a man with a spinal condition.
