William Branham Sermons - God Testifying Of His Gifts (52-0713E)

Sermon Title: God Testifying Of His Gifts
Date: July 13, 1952
Location: Hammond, Indiana
Code: 52-0713E

About This Sermon:
In this message preached in Hammond, Indiana, William Branham thanks the people for the love offering and shares his heart for missions—the Africa campaign that produced 100,000 conversions, with 30,000 accepting Christ in a single day. He reads Hebrews 11:4 and speaks on how God testifies of His gifts. He then gives a detailed lesson on the nature of disease—how cancer and tumors are living growths, developing cells, with a life of their own, and how that life is ultimately a demon that must be rebuked in the Name of Jesus Christ. He explains the procedure of Divine healing: the life of the disease is called out, the body remains but dies, and the patient may go through a 72-hour period of seeming sickness as the dead growth passes from the body. He emphasizes that this is the best sign the healing is real. He also explains the difference between the conscious and subconscious, between dreams and visions, and how a seer breaks from one conscious to another. He declares that Jesus Christ said He could do nothing of Himself, but only what the Father showed Him—and that the same Spirit is here today to do the same works. The service closes with a powerful prayer line where many are healed, including a woman with headaches who belonged to Christian Science, a colored woman with sinus trouble, a woman with gallstones, a woman with cancer who had backslidden and returned to God, and a woman on a cot commanded to rise and walk.
