About This Sermon
In this afternoon message, Brother Branham first speaks openly about money and the ministry, recounting the offering he could not take from a poor widow, the bicycle a brother gave him that he repainted and sold, and the large sum he refused to look at. He names money, popularity, and women as the three things that wreck a minister's life. He then turns to John 11 and the raising of Lazarus, moving through the faith of Mary and Martha, the Shunammite woman and Elijah, and the manna laid up in the golden pot as a type of the Holy Ghost. He declares Christ's words, "I am the resurrection and the life," and closes affirming that the same Jesus is here to heal, calling the people to believe.
