About This Sermon
In this closing night in Chicago, Brother Branham answers a Baptist brother's objection that Isaiah 53 was already fulfilled in Matthew 8, showing that Christ healed before the atonement was made and that Philip—a deacon, not one of the twelve—healed in Samaria. He argues that sickness is not of God, that the middle of the road is the way of holiness, and that God's covenant in Eden was His own doing and cannot be broken. He speaks of the Blood of Christ coming from the Father, answers a rancher who denied the virgin birth, and moves through John 5, asking why Jesus healed only one man among the multitudes at Bethesda—because He did nothing until the Father showed Him. He then traces the same pattern through Nathanael, the woman at the well, and Elijah at Carmel, and closes by praying for the sick as the Angel of the Lord draws near.
