The Seven Redemptive Names of Jesus

169 I said, "Do you believe the seven redemptive names, compound names belongs to Jesus? If He wasn't, and didn't fulfill, and in Him was them seven compound names, He wasn't Jehovah-jireh. There is Jehovah-jireh, 'God's provided sacrifice,' and you'll have to admit that or say He wasn't the Son of God. Then if He is Jehovah-jireh, He's Jehovah-rapha, the Healer also. For all seven compound names, 'our victory,' 'our banner,' and 'our shield,' and 'our buckler,' and 'our healing,' and 'our salvation,' 'our provided sacrifice,' all laid in Him. And when He died at Calvary, He spoiled principalities, raised up, throwed His hands up, said, 'It's finished.' Hallelujah. Devils trembled; hell shook; the...?... went every way. And He rose up on Easter morning, 'I am He that was dead and is alive again.' There He is, Jehovah-rapha, Jehovah-manasseh. Jehovah-jireh, God's provided sacrifice." Couldn't have a word to say.

163 To you little group of people here tonight, seated here, may God's love overshadow you tonight. And especially the sick and needy, I pray that there will not be one of you but what will go home well. If I could do anything about it, I'd gladly do it; but I can't do it. The only thing that I can do is represent Him to you in a way of a Divine gift.
Now, if I speak the truth that God provided a Sacrifice, and that sacrifice, Jehovah-jireh, was Jesus Christ... And all of the seven compound, redemptive Names laid in Jesus Christ. Jehovah-jireh, "the Lord's provided Sacrifice." Jehovah-rapha, "the Lord that heals thy diseases." And Jehovah... "the banner." And--and all the other, seven compound Names, was all in Christ Jesus. And there's where all the types and the shadows of the Old Testament, all come and met in Jesus Christ. He paid the supreme price, ascended on high, and sent back the Holy Ghost tonight, which is God's provided Way of your escape.

« 13 † Now let's read some out of the blessed old Bible here tonight. Let's turn over to Romans, the 4th chapter, and read just a portion out of the Book of Romans. I want to read two places tonight, out of Genesis and out of the Book of Romans. Now in the Book of Romans, 4th chapter, 17th verse.
(As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him who he believed, even God, who quickens the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.
Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations; according to that which was written, So shall thy seed be.
And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither... the deadness of Sarah's womb:
He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;
And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.
And therefore it was imputed unto him for righteousness.
Now it was not written for his sake alone, that it was imputed to him;
But for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead;
Who was delivered for our offense, and was raised again for our justification.
« 14 † Oh, how I love That! That's one of my favorite Scripture readings of the Bible, because it's so positive what God was, what He promised and swore that He would do. And now I chose this subject because that I think that on any meeting, to see the faith that we saw exercised here last night, that not a feeble person among us but what was healed. What the power of God came and what He did! Then I thought, if we could build around something positive, making a--an achievement to a goal, then how wonderful it would be when we could hit that great night or hour of climax.
